Trying to add drinks from the FantasyDrinks generator. Do I need to include or link it somewhere? --Tiara (talk) 07:52, 30 December 2013 (PST)

I added one reference to that generator onto the most probable non-veggie entry of this generator. The format is [generatorname.subtablename]. There is nothing else you need to do. --ToB (talk) 22:20, 30 December 2013 (PST)

Got it. :-) --Tiara (talk) 16:04, 31 December 2013 (PST)

I just generated some Grilled Potatoes Sausage. :-o Examining the source I found a problem. [MainMeals] has a line that includes [VeggiesCookable], so far so good, but then it has another line that says [MainMeals] Sausage. Meaning that anything in [MainMeals] including [VeggiesCookable] (and for that matter [MainMeals] Sausage, and [ExoticMainMeals] Sausage) can be turned into sausage. I don't know the best way to fix this. Other than that, I have been very impressed with this generator's ability to make sensible meals, with a minimum of errors.--Tiara (talk) 09:55, 6 January 2014 (PST)

Hey Tiara - I changed it so that the main call is now to [SausageType] Sausage (although I left in the [MainMealsExotic] Sausage call, since those were all animal. The SausageType table is basically the MainMeals with anything that can't be made into sausage eliminated! (and a few probability rebalances) to whit:

;SausageType
7, Beef
3, Liver
1, Beef Heart
1, Beef Tongue
4, Lamb
5, Duck
9, Goose
9, Chicken
3, Capon
18, Pork
5, Ham
12, Boar
6, Goat
2, Rabbit
2, Coney
2, Hare
6, Mutton
8, Venison
4, Veal
4, Elk

Ok, thanks. I used the SausageType table for the jerky as well. Also I've noticed it tends to get blank side dishes sometimes. I got one meal "served with and coffee" (2 Extras, 1st missing), and another "served with Rolls with White Grapefruit jelly, Scones with fresh-churned butter and" (3 Extras, 3rd missing) so it doesn't seem to be the ExtrasRoll table. (plus I checked the spelling of each of the calls to [Extras] and didn't see anything wrong) The [Extras] table itself only contains 2 options and they both look fine. (I have seen results from both.) The [Sides] table seems to be the last place it could be wrong, but there is no blank option on that table and I checked each of the calls to subtables, that didn't have any words with them, and they all seem to be spelled the same as their tables. I haven't checked the punctuation at the front of the tables though... That is the only thing I can think of that might cause it, and I probably don't have time to check that right now. It does seem to be a fairly common error, it would be nice to have it fixed. --Tiara (talk) 10:35, 29 January 2014 (PST)

Tiara, the problem seems to have been in the call to the FantasyDrinks table from the Sides table. I've removed it, and haven't encountered the problem since. I've also taken steps to address the issue you introduced that caused the 'leading space box' on many calls. Please do not re-introduce leading spaces onto any table that might be called first. Instead, a trailing space at the end of the individual CookingAdjectives or DescriptiveAdjective1 is the right way to avoid the leading space problem.-Dave Younce (talk) 07:45, 31 January 2014 (PST)

Ok, Thanks! but is there a way the FantasyDrinks could be added back in without causing that problem?--Tiara (talk) 12:27, 6 February 2014 (PST)
